Coast Plaza Hotel and Suites: The hotel is situated in the heart of the West End of Vancouver and is only three short blocks from Vancouver’s famous English Bay Beach and Stanley Park. Step outside of the Hotel and you will find yourself in one of the most unique shopping areas of Vancouver. There are restaurants from a wide variety of ethnic backgrounds showcasing Vancouver's reputation as an International City and the famous Robson Street shopping area is just a short walk away.

Since July is one of the busiest months for hotel bookings in our city, we highly recommend that you make your hotel bookings as soon as possible. Remember to let reservations know that you are part of the International Conference on Imagination in Education.

2007 Special Conference Accommodation Rates (until June 17th, 2007) Please book early as rooms fill up quickly.:

Comfort Rooms: CDN $182 single/double occupancy
One-bedroom suites: CDN $222 single/double occupancy
Additional Person: CDN $20 per night, per room
Children under 18 stay free in same room as parent(s)
Tax: 17% (10% hotel tax, 6% GST)

Notices from Hotel:

• Check in time is 3:00pm; check-out time is noon
• Rates are valid for 3 days prior to July 16th, 2006 and 3 days following July 21th, 2007 subject to availability.
• Reservations must include name, address, smoking preference, arival/departure date, number of people in room and billing method.
• All guests who are sharing accommodations must be indicated on rooming list or by the individual at the time of reservation.
• Reservations must be guaranteed by a credit card.
• For cancellation or changes to your reservation, please notify the hotel by 4:00 p.m. 48 hours prior to arrival date to avoid a one night's room and tax charge.

Parking

Hotel guests can park in the lot under the Coast Plaza Hotel & Suites. The cost is $12.00/day as of September 2005. $18.00 for overnight guests. Daily Parking is also available ($3.50/hour) to a maximum of $14 until 6:00 p.m. Evening rates apply
