This conference will feature presentations from teaching and scholarly communities from around the world. Presentations will focus on our central theme of "opening doors to imaginative education:connecting theory to practice". The keynote session will be an interactive satellite video session with Dr. Howard Gardner. Confirmed speakers include: * Dr. Vera John-Steiner, University of New Mexico. * Dr. Concettina Manna, University of Salerno. * Dr. Giuseppe Cardone, University of Naples. * Mr. Alan Haskvitz, multi-award winning teacher. * Dr. Mark Fettes, Simon Fraser University. * Dr. Kieran Egan, Simon Fraser University. * Unfortunately Professor Giuliano Minichiello of the University of Salerno will be unable to attend our conference this year. New this year is a Research Symposium on Imaginative Education for those doing research around themes of imaginative education and who are interested in the potential of a fully refereed paper publication.
