  • What people are saying about Imaginative Education

It’s great stuff! I was exposed to it through the article in Educational Leadership and I am now reading the book. It makes so much sense! Thank you for your great work! Dave Bell (Texas)

When I started to use IE several years ago now, that I tried it out in a few lessons here and there, was amazed at the success and then began to look for other areas and subjects in which I could use the Lesson Planning Frameworks and other aspects of the theory. Pamela Hagen.

I am just back home after a great pro-day and still reeling from all that I learned from your workshop. Pamela Walker (Victoria, B.C.)

I've been having a great deal of success with IE in the classroom. I taught grade 5 last year using IE-based concepts and had a GREAT year. I'm teaching kindergarten this year and using the concepts again - so far so fabulous! Mary Mulleady, (Teacher, Surrey.)

    IRNIE collaboration project in Romania

    last modified 2008-07-22 23:34

This project is an IRNIE project led by Mrs. Nadia Tarnoveanu and Stefan Popenici that is taking place in Bucharest, Romania.

Inclusion through Imagination: Focus on ADHD 2006-2009

The project seeks to provide a comprehensive approach to finding solutions through education for students at risk, with a focus upon students who have been labeled with ADHD.

Imaginative Education is used here to create a supportive educational environment for students within this specific target group – a collection of students who are often chronic underachievers and suffer from higher-than-the-norm drop-out rates.

Developed in three public schools in Bucharest, Romania, this project involves experts from IERG, members of the local council and city hall, the General School’s Inspectorate of Bucharest (ISMB) and the Institute for Educational Sciences – Romania.

The goal of this IRNIE project is to build on-site teaching strategies for a brighter future for those students who are too often marginalized within the public education system.

This project is an IRNIE project led by Mrs. Nadia Tarnoveanu and Stefan Popenici.
