New Guide to Imaginative Education...Teachers' Guides on the Way
We are delighted to finally have available glossy printed copies of "A Brief Guide to Imaginative Education" by Owen Tyers. The Guide gives a simple overview of the ideas on which IERG is founded and introduces some of the main activities we are engaged in.
If you would like a copy for yourself, or a set of copies to distribute to people you think might be interested in our work, please send an email to newseditor@imaginativeeducation.org specifying how many copies you want.
As well, a number of new and handy guides for teachers are currently being prepared by IERG associates. These guides include ready to use lessons, framed in IERG’s imaginative education theoretical framework. Owen Tyers is working with Kieran Egan on a new guide for science teachers of students at the Mythic stage. Gillian Judson is working on new social studies guides for students at the romantic and mythic stages. These will be available to preservice and practicing teachers in the near future.
